About the event

In the Sabai Webinar Series 13, we will explore the critical topic “Why is it Important to Segregate Waste for the Future,” emphasizing its significance for our planet and future generations.

🌐 Environmental sustainability is an urgent global concern, necessitating effective waste management strategies. Waste segregation is a fundamental step in minimizing environmental impact and conserving resources by facilitating recycling processes and resource recovery for various materials such as plastic, glass, electronic devices, paper, and organics.

🌐 Our distinguished speakers for this webinar include U Sa Aung Thet Oo, an Environmental Specialist in Myanmar; Daw Amara Amara, a former member of the Youth Advisory Council to the US Ambassador to Myanmar and currently working with an INGO on Humanitarian Aid; and Daw Naychi Thel Kyaw Tun, the Country Lead in the Core Leadership Team of the YSEALI Women Leadership Academy for 2024-2025, who will serve as the Moderator.
