Greening Ramadan: Plastic Reduction During Iftar

In Sabai Webinar Series 10, Hnynn Pwint Wai, a certified Environmental Specialist recognised by the Myanmar Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, will discuss the negative effects caused by plastic usage, emphasising the need to reduce plastic consumption, especially during Iftar time in Ramadan andMay Ye, a prominent food blogger (Where I Eat Halal Food) will also highlight the importance of prevalent use of plastic in Halal restaurants and Ramadan Iftar market stalls, which operate once a year. Tin Shine Aung, a Sustainable Specialist for international businesses, will also contribute to the discussion by highlighting awareness activities about plastic usage during Ramadan in mosques internationally and underlining the importance of environmental protection following Islamic principles.
