🌊 Hosted by the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc), this insightful event will examine how climate change is reshaping Myanmar, with presentations from Dr. Aung Tun Oo, an expert on climate change and Tin Shine Aung, SRIc’s Director. They will explore the vulnerabilities of Myanmar’s most affected regions, from rising temperatures and extreme weather to the social and agricultural challenges of climate-induced displacement. This discussion will also cover the future challenges Myanmar may face, such as urbanization and infrastructure development, and how the country can leverage opportunities in green technology and eco-tourism.


Additionally, They will delve into the role of government policies and international partnerships, emphasizing the need for disaster preparedness, renewable energy investment, and emissions reduction efforts. Learn how community-led solutions and indigenous knowledge are driving grassroots climate adaptation.
